The historic town of West Jefferson is located in the northwest corner of North Carolina, near the Tennessee and Virginia borders. It's considered the "coolest corner" of the state because of its moderate weather and cool mountain breezes. It's approximately a 2 hour drive from Charlotte and 3 hours from Raleigh.

To get here, take 421 and turn North on 221. Drive 15 minutes and turn left at the first traffic light on 221, which is at 163. As you pass Ingles and come into downtown, 163 becomes South Jefferson Avenue. In a minute you'll see the fair. Just grab a free parking spot and start exploring!
